Where is the Downtown Neighborhood?

The neighborhood is bordered roughly on the north by the Willamette River and Skinner Butte, the east by High Street and the river, the south by 13th Avenue, and the west by Lawrence Street.

We are the downtown community!

Our Steering Committee consists of volunteers (listed below) who plan our General Meetings by coordinating with the city, local agencies and businesses to bring you relevant and interesting information.

The DNA Mission

The mission of the Downtown Neighborhood Association is to build community at the neighborhood level and improve the livability and economic vitality of the neighborhood.  The DNA will do this by:

• Sponsoring neighborhood improvement projects and social events
• Providing a forum to identify, discuss, and resolve neighborhood issues
• Establishing two-way communication between Downtown and the City, and between Downtown and other external agencies
• Educating neighbors on issues, public process, City services, and elections
• Identifying and advocating the DNA’s position on issues such as land use and development, transportation, public safety, and social services.
